Zulu Named "Headset Of The Year" By Aviation Consumer Magazine
Zulu And Mach 1 Also Given High Marks In Reader Headset Survey

Each year Aviation Consumer looks back at all the products they've tested and reviewed and chooses their top picks. They find the "standout products in which the manufacturer has gone the extra distance to provide exceptional quality or value."
For 2008 they singled-out thirteen products and we're proud to say that our Zulu was named "Best ANR Headset."
They cited a number of reasons for picking Zulu over another well-known premium headset, including the Bluetooth cellphone link, the auxiliary audio input, and the fact that Zulu costs less.

Reader Headset Survey Gives High Marks To Zulu, Mach 1 And Lightspeed
Aviation Consumer surveyed 900 pilots about their headsets and found that 27% of them wear Lightspeed. That puts us just 1% behind the category leader. (Can we borrow the old Hertz slogan and say "We try harder"?)
The magazine says that the 40 pilots they talked to who are wearing Zulu "agree that Zulu is a home run." The new users were attracted by the music inputs and Bluetooth interface for cellphones. And unlike the leading brand, with the ANR turned off Zulu has passive noise cancellation that's as good as some passive headsets.
Readers also praised Lightspeed customer service, using terms like "outstanding" and "utterly marvelous."
The magazine also rated our Mach 1 as the best in-the-ear (ITE) headset.
Aviation Consumer had such nice things to say about us, modesty almost prevents us from repeating them here--but not quite:
"If we had to single out one company for excellent offerings from the top-end to (almost) the bargain bin, it would be Lightspeed."
