Lightspeed Aviation, the leading innovator in aviation headsets and pilot-centric solutions, announced today a planned executive transition marking the next chapter in its leadership evolution.
Founder and longtime Chief Executive Officer, Allan Schrader will step down as CEO but remain as Chairman of the Board of Directors. As part of this succession plan, Heider Lazzarini has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer, bringing with him a wealth of experience to further the company’s mission and culture.
“After nearly 30 years leading Lightspeed Aviation from a startup to a trusted name in aviation, I’m excited to hand the reins to Heider, who has been an integral part of our recent journey and successes,” said Mr. Schrader. “As Chairman, I look forward to supporting the leadership team and helping guide our long-term vision.”
Heider Lazzarini joined Lightspeed in 2023 as President, where he led all operational aspects of the company and key initiatives in product innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence. “Allan built Lightspeed with an unwavering commitment to innovation and to the pilot community,” said Mr. Lazzarini. “I’m very honored to build on that legacy as we enter an exciting new era of growth, together with our talented team.”
