The new Lightspeed Zulu 4 aviation headset comes with FrameFit™ ear seals which provide pilots with new levels of comfort, even when wearing sunglasses, baseball caps, or other eye and headwear.
Standard on the Zulu 4, FrameFit ear seals are constructed using dual density foam with lower density around the top of the ear seal to maintain the comfort you expect when wearing gear which typically rests on or above the ear. Lightspeed Aviation has performed extensive testing to ensure improved comfort without degrading performance and to ensure a fit that keeps the ear seal around your ear, not on it.
This innovative design adds more comfort as compared to other ear seals, because it delivers a 5% reduction in pressure at the point where your glasses or your hat are in contact with the headset. The new FrameFit ear seals relieve the pressure on your temples as well as on the bridge of your nose when you’re wearing glasses.
Just like the Lightspeed performance ear seals found on all other models, it has a wedge design where it’s thicker on the bottom, hugging the curve of the jaw and tapered at the top. It has a wide opening, so your entire ear fits inside the ear cup, rather than having the ear seals rest on top of your ear.
The improved comfort of FrameFit ear seals makes flying more pleasant and safer by taking the pressure off, especially on long-haul missions. Designed to reduce fatigue and discomfort which could distract you from the task at hand, Zulu 4 FrameFit ear seals help you stay engaged and able to fully enjoy your flight.
Experience more comfort, more clarity and more flexibility.
Zulu 4 builds on the success of Lightspeed’s best-selling Zulu series ANR headsets to deliver more comfort, clarity, and flexibility with dual Bluetooth technology with improved outbound audio, a longer mic boom, and FrameFit® ear seals to deliver unrivaled comfort.
