Rotax ANR & Audio Profile for the Lightspeed Delta Zulu

BRP-Rotax and Lightspeed Aviation are pleased to announce a new partnership that brings together two companies with a shared commitment to performance, innovation, and premium cockpit experience. As part of this collaboration, the Lightspeed Delta Zulu^® premium Active Noise Reduction (ANR) headset will become part of Rotax Care and further enhance the overall pilot experience through communication, comfort, and a more tailored cockpit environment.

Starting in August 2026, anyone who enrolls in the Rotax Care Program will receive a Lightspeed Delta Zulu headset with the Rotax ANR and Audio Profile pre-installed.

All current Lightspeed Delta Zulu owners will gain access to the Rotax ANR profile via a firmware update later this fall.

Rotax-Specific ANR and Audio Profile

Developed by Lightspeed Aviation, the new Rotax-specific audio and ANR profile is tailored to the acoustic characteristics of select Rotax aircraft engine platforms. The result is a more integrated cockpit audio experience designed to support clearer communication and greater cockpit comfort. The Rotax-optimized profile will be available as part of the Rotax Care program for Rotax 912 iS/c, 915 iS/c and 916 iS aircraft engines.

How to Activate the Rotax ANR and Audio Profile

1. In the Lightspeed App, tap the Equalizer button at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap the ANR and Audio Profile button*
3. Under “Swith to:” tap the Rotax ANR & Audio Profile button
4. Confirm you are not currently in flight
5. Tap the Load Rotax ANR & Audio Profile button
6. Wait a few minutes while the ANR profile updates and your headset reboots

Your Lightspeed Delta Zulu headset is now switched to the Rotax ANR & Audio Profile. To switch back, follow the same steps and select the Signature ANR and Audio Profile on the ANR profile page.

*For existing Lightspeed Delta Zulu owners and users of the Lightspeed App, the ANR and Audio Profile button will not be visible until this feature is fully rolled out to all existing customers later this fall.

Rotax Care + Lightspeed Delta Zulu

Rotax and Lightspeed Aviation have partnered to bring Rotax customers a first of its kind Rotax optimized ANR solution for pilots. Through the Rotax Care program (an optional extended warranty program for Rotax 4-stroke aircraft engines), Rotax offers the Lightspeed Delta Zulu® ANR headset featuring Rotax-specific ANR and audio profile settings designed to maximize sound clarity.

Rotax customers who enroll in Rotax Care receive three additional years of warranty coverage on top of Rotax’s standard warranty as well as a Lightspeed Delta Zulu with its exclusive Rotax ANR and Audio Profile.

What is Rotax Care?

• Extended warranty program for Rotax 4-stroke aircraft engines
• Applies to: Rotax 912 iS/c and 915 iS/c
• Adds peace of mind: extends Rotax standard warranty coverage by three additional years or until Time Before Overhaul (TBO), whichever comes first
• A Lightspeed Delta Zulu ANR headset is included in the Rotax Care program – offered with every eligible 912 iS/c and 915 iS/c Rotax Care enrollment
