There’s Nothing Quite Like Oshkosh.
For one week each summer, aviation’s biggest stories, newest innovations, and most passionate pilots all gather in one place. From the first aircraft arrivals to the final departures, EAA AirVenture 2026 once again reminded us why it remains the world’s premier aviation celebration!

For the Lightspeed team, AirVenture is an opportunity to reconnect with customers and friends, meet new pilots, strengthen relationships across the aviation community, and show everyone what we’ve been working so hard on over the last year.
Connecting with Pilots from Around the World
Throughout the week, we welcomed pilots, aircraft owners, flight instructors, students, mechanics, entertainers, and aviation enthusiasts from every corner of the industry. Whether visitors stopped by to try on a Zulu 4 for the first time, share a story about their experience with the Lightspeed Delta Zulu’s life-saving technology, or simply chat about what plane they are flying now, the conversations made the week so memorable.
One of the things we love most about AirVenture is the opportunity to hear directly from pilots. Every year we come away with new insights, inspiring stories, and a renewed appreciation for the incredible community that surrounds aviation.
Making Oshkosh More Interactive
This year, attendees had the opportunity to participate in the Lightspeed #Osh26 Passport. Visitors could visit the booths of some of Lightspeed’s partners and iconic locations around the event grounds to collect stamps for a chance to win a Lightspeed Delta Zulu!

The activity encouraged attendees to explore more of what AirVenture has to offer while connecting with aviation organizations throughout the event.
In our view, fun opportunities like this are a reflection of what makes Oshkosh special. The event isn’t just about seeing your favorite airplanes (although that is an important part). It’s about discovering new experiences, meeting new people, and making connections you may have never had the opportunity to otherwise!
Demonstrating What’s Possible with a Digital Platform
AirVenture also provided the perfect venue to showcase the new Rotax-specific ANR + Audio Profile for Lightspeed Delta Zulu. Developed to complement select Rotax engine platforms, the profile is designed to create a more integrated cockpit audio experience while giving pilots the flexibility to switch between specialized and signature audio profiles.

For many visitors, seeing this capability firsthand reinforced a promise we’ve been making since the launch of Lightspeed Delta Zulu: a digital platform allows us to continue delivering new value long after it leaves our warehouse.
Celebrating 30 Years of Lightspeed
AirVenture 2026 also served as an opportunity to celebrate an important milestone: 30 years of Lightspeed Aviation. Throughout the show, we reflected on three decades of innovation, relationships, and commitment to creating products that help protect and save lives.
While aviation technology has evolved dramatically over the past three decades, the reason we do what we do has remained remarkably consistent: helping pilots communicate clearly, fly comfortably, and stay focused on what matters most.
The Real Highlight: The Aviation Community
At every AirVenture, it’s tempting to focus on the aircrafts, new products, exciting announcements, and mind-blowing attractions. But as anyone who has attended knows, the real magic of Oshkosh is the people.
It’s the excitement in the eyes of someone experiencing their first ever airshow, the lifelong aviator sharing stories from thousands of hours in the cockpit, the friendships formed over late nights at SOS Bros or around the camp fires, and it’s the volunteers, exhibitors, and attendees who make the event possible year after year.
Those connections are what keep us coming back.

Until Next Year
As the final aircraft departed and exhibitors began packing up, we left Oshkosh feeling grateful.
Grateful to every pilot who stopped by the booth. Grateful for the conversations, feedback, stories, and friendships. And grateful to be part of an aviation community that continues to inspire us year after year.
Thank you to everyone who visited us at EAA AirVenture 2026.
We hope to see you rocking your wings over Wisconsin next year!
